Shipping & Delivery
Our shipping fees are intended to reimburse our company for the costs of packing your goods and delivering them safely to you. Standard shipping rates (on items other than large furniture or marble) as follows:
With the exception of furniture pieces and large pottery, all purchases from Rug & Relic are shipped via FedEx Ground. This ensures standard delivery to almost anywhere in the continental US within 6 working days from the processing of your order, except during the Christmas season and natural events such as snowstorms, flooding, hurricanes, etc.
If arrival date is imperative, we also offer one-day and two-day shipping options on most items. Just include "rush delivery" in the customer comments, and we'll gladly contact you with pricing for your package prior to shipping.
If you have purchased an item with a value above $500, please know that Federal Express will require a signature before the package can be released. This is to protect you from the potential theft of your package. We highly recommend that if you are not at home to receive the package during the day, you have us ship to your work address. We can also arrange for evening or Saturday delivery, for an additional charge of $5.00.
At Rug & Relic, we are dedicated to ensuring that our customers are pleased with the items they purchase. So much so, in fact, that we will allow in-home approvals on all rugs, and many of our other items.
We are happy to accept returns, less shipping costs, and subject to the timetable for returns, below. All we ask is that you return the item to us in a timely fashion, and in the same condition in which it was sent. For a cash refund, returns must be shipped back to us within 30 days of receiving the item, as established by the delivery date indicated by the shipper. Items returned after 30 days will be accepted on a gallery-credit basis. Absent exceptional circumstances, no returns will be accepted on items after 60 days. All returns are subject to inspection, and we reserve the right to reject items that are damaged, used, soiled, or otherwise unfit for sale.
PLEASE NOTE: Because every computer will display colors differently, and color is often an important factor in selecting rugs, we highly recommend that you take advantage of our willingness to provide more information about the pieces you are interested in. We are happy to ship you the carpets you select on an approval basis.
