This antique cauldron is a particularly noteworthy example of Turkish copper craftsmanship, in part because of its beautiful shape and patina, but even more particularly because of an inscription on its upper edge, which extends a blessing to each person to draw water from its depths.
Its size and heft (it weighs close to 50 lbs) make it perfect for housing a topiary or other large planting. Or, add a copper tray or a piece of glass as a top, and use it as coffee table or end table. Please also note: we are also offering its "sister" piece for sale. The second cauldron does not have an inscription, but is nearly identical in all other respects.
