No question that these cauldrons have seen a fire or two in their day!  Sometimes, these vintage pieces are polished back to their original brilliance. However, their age can be seen in the baked-on soot around their handles, and coating their bases. Often used as dye vats for the wools used in rug-making, these cauldrons are re-purposed by our clients as everything from coffee tables to firewood holders.
