Hemp Kilim
No matter the color, our Turkish hemp kilims are the greenest rugs around! Made entirely from locally-grown and hand-spun hemp, each rug is hand-woven to create a unique piece of art for the floor. Many hemp pieces feature entirely-natural, undyed and unbleached hemp, while others are woven of vegetally-dyed materials. This piece is indigo-dyed, believe it or not. It's light color and many variations in hues is due to numerous washings. It's soft texture and yet heavy weight make it ideal for use as window treatments or other wall ornamentation.
