The colorful vintage door which makes up the top of this unique coffee table was salvaged from the kitchen of an old home in the Turkish countryside.  Note the hand-planed surface and the mortise and tenon construction.  The base was custom-crafted to fit the door's shape by our copper artisans outside Istanbul, and includes a second all-metal shelf, pretty enough for displaying a knick-knack or two, but sturdy enough to hold all the books you can pile on it.
