Carved from individual logs, our vintage mortars are well-worn with the character and flavor of the Turkish countryside. Each mortar has a character all its own, and features a slightly weighted base. Repairs rendered in copper sheeting add distinction to some items (see photo). Use them on the counter to store spoons and cooking utensils, or in the mudroom for mittens, gloves and hats. Stack one with yarn for your favorite knitting project, or as a doorstop. Their uses are as varied as their shapes and decoration.
